About Engage
The technology changed. The mission did not.
Engage builds technology that helps people understand complex environments and make better decisions. Our path from augmented reality to operational intelligence has been shaped by ambitious ideas, real contracts and the discipline of building working products.

The common thread
We follow hard problems—not technology trends.
Engage began with interactive and immersive technology, but the deeper interest was always operational: how can important information become easier to see, understand and act on? That question connects bridgeVUE, our defence work, 5050.live and omniVUE.
From bridgeVUE to omniVUE
A progression of insight, built in the real world.
bridgeVUE is no longer an active product. Its importance is what it proved—and what we learned by taking it beyond the lab.
Make operational information easier to see.
bridgeVUE explored a simple but consequential idea: could radar and navigational information be placed directly into an operator’s field of view? The HoloLens-era product combined marine data and augmented reality to support awareness in difficult visibility.
Move the idea into a serious operating environment.
A Department of National Defence contract through Innovative Solutions Canada enabled the Royal Canadian Navy to test bridgeVUE at the Naval Training Development Centre Pacific. The work explored radar-based small-target surveillance, oil-spill detection and the role of augmented reality in operational training.
The insight was bigger than the headset.
bridgeVUE proved the value of putting operational context where people could use it. It also exposed the limits of a product tied to one device. Engage carried those lessons into a browser-first, multi-device platform built around live data, geospatial awareness, incidents, evidence and human-supervised decisions.
Proof beyond one product
The work is different. The discipline is the same.
During the same period that our operational technology was evolving, Engage built and commercialized 5050.live—a digital fundraising and lottery platform for organizations running regulated online raffles.
5050.live is not part of omniVUE. It belongs here because it demonstrates another side of Engage: building a public-facing software product, supporting real customers and operating where security, compliance and reliability matter.

Four disciplines we carry into every engagement.
Start with the difficult decision
We look for the point where fragmented information, changing conditions or operational constraints make action harder than it should be.
Integrate the real environment
The product has to work with actual systems, roles, rules and operating conditions—not just a clean demonstration dataset.
Design around the people using it
Good technology should make context clearer, reduce unnecessary friction and keep responsibility visible.
Earn confidence through delivery
Contracts, regulated products and working demonstrations matter because they turn ambitious ideas into evidence.
